The Securos Team's focus has always been, and will continue to be, providing exceptional quality products and personalized services to our customers. During these unprecedented times, we offer the same level of service, be it from the office or our homes.
Where possible our work continues remotely, however, our Quality, Repair and Warehouse teams continue to work diligently on-site to support you and your business needs. Products are being inspected before going into inventory, repairs are being quickly turned around and orders are being shipped just like normal. To adhere to social distancing guidelines we have expanded our associate workday to 18 hours, in order to minimize the on-site headcount. In addition, we are taking extra measures for cleanliness to keep our associates and customers safe.

OrthoHelp procedure support. We are still offering this valuable service at no cost to our customers online at https://www.securos.com/procedural-support. Our OrthoHelp line is available for pre- or post-surgical case questions. Our expert consultants will review all information—including radiographs supplied by the surgeon—to make the best surgical recommendations. This includes:
- Orthopedic case assessment
- Technique inquiries
- Assistance selecting orthopedic implants prior to surgery
- Addressing postoperative complications, such as seroma or infection
Product expertise. The Securos Technical Support Team is often called upon to provide in-depth technical support to customers. We are happy to assist surgeons and their staff in selecting the proper implants or instruments needed for upcoming surgeries. We connect our customers to the OrthoHelp Team, as well as provide surgical technique tips and suggestions.
Virtual Lunch and Learns. Securos Virtual Lunch and Learns are now available! We recently put together a Virtual Lunch and Learn for Instrument Care and Repair. Are you experiencing instrument damage? Do you want a streamlined, effective way to care for your instruments? We can help! This Lunch and Learn will go into the proper process for cleaning, sterilizing, and storage of your instruments. We will detail why common instrument problems like rust, corrosion, and pitting occur. You may request a lunch and learn by contacting your MWI representative. Once requested, your clinic will receive a package containing literature and supplies to supplement the presentation your MWI rep will give via virtual platform.
Online CE. Securos offers online orthopedic courses that allow you to build your skills at your own convenience. Taught by Securos faculty members, and delivered in partnership with VetBloom, each course is comprised of 4-5 parts, which have been individually accredited for one hour of CE credit in jurisdictions that recognize AAVSB RACE approval. Loan, try or buy
Instrumentation demo access. Have you been thinking about buying an instrument pack? Securos has select instrumentation available for demo use in surgery. To initiate a demo, contact your local MWI representative. Products include dental instrumentation, spay packs, and general surgical packs.
Power equipment demo for loan. To ensure that our customers have the power tools they need to perform their essential duties, Securos is making our demo systems available to veterinarians in need of loaners for one-off procedures. We offer several Arbutus DrillCover, Arbutus SawCover, and MicroAire® SmartDriver™ systems for loan, should the need arise. Contact your MWI sales representative for more information.
Stay sharp and fit
Surgical instrument servicing. Securos offers full service instrument and clipper blade repairs to keep all of your instruments in great surgical condition. All Securos Surgical Instruments are sharpened, aligned and restored free of charge for the lifetime of the instrument (does not include consumable replacement parts or return shipping charges). A nominal fee is charged for the servicing of all non-Securos instruments. We guarantee all of our work and look forward to providing all of your instrument care needs.
