From the start, we’ve been dedicated to practical innovation in animal health. Dr. Karl H. Kraus, MS, DACVS established Securos in April of 1997 to improve veterinary surgical outcomes and provide quality educational experiences for postgraduate vets. From his network of colleagues at Tufts University, Harvard Medical School and Worchester Polytechnic Institute, Dr. Kraus assembled a team of engineers, veterinary and human surgeons, to develop quality surgical instrumentation and techniques through advanced engineering, modern materials and meticulous manufacturing processes.

In 20 short years, we have grown from a startup corporation to a world leader in animal health. Working closely with inquiring practitioners, there is much more to be done—more problems to be solved, more patients to be helped, and more veterinarians to be supported.
