Novetech Surgery for Joint Instabilities
Course Description:
The course will focus on repair of tendon and ligament of joint instabilities. Participants will have the opportunity to explore tendon repair techniques using Novaten® and Novalig®, including applications for the Patellar and Achilles tendons.
Novaten® and Novalig®, enable the repair of weight-bearing tendons without the need for an external fixator or calcaneotibial screw, which offers a significant benefit for both the patient and the pet owner during the postoperative period. Participants will also gain an overview of the management of other joint instabilities using the Novetech Surgery system and interference screws.
Course objectives:
- Get up to date with the latest advancements in synthetic ligament reconstruction.
- Learn how to anchor it into soft tissues.
- Learn how to anchor it into bones.
- Be able to adapt your post-operative protocols.
- Gain an overview of the various surgical applications.
- Practice surgical techniques on dry bone and/or specimens.
