• Securosorb Plus suture provides same handling and performance of Securosorb suture, but with the added benefit of antibacterial protection. Securosorb Plus sutures are coated with chlorhexidine diacetate, a proven antibacterial agent that results in a zone of inhibition around the suture line. Chlorhexidine diacetate is recognized as being effective against bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, MRSA and MRSE.
