POSITIVE PROFILE FIXATION PINS
The SECUROS center-threaded(CT) and end-threaded(ET), positive profile external fixation pins have a design incomparable to any other. The thread proflie has the same characteristics as the bone screw. This buttress" type thread is proven to have the strongest holding power in bone. The threads were specially designed to advance the pin through bone reducing microfractures, therefore, virtually eliminating pin loosening. The strength of these pins is unsurpassed by any other! There is no longer a need for cancellous pins when using the SECUROS pins.
