Monofilament nylon can be autoclaved.
Do Not Autoclave the whole spool!
Nylon can be placed with the other instruments in the autoclave.
Do Not Autoclave more than once.
Standard Steam Autoclaving between 250-275 degrees.
The 80# and 40# nylon is used with the Cruciate Repair System. Other sizes are used with the CLM System and when tying knots.
